2013 has been an exciting and eventful year. Many albums were released to the public, which made the year filled with plenty of new music to listen to.
We have put together a list of our favorite albums of 2013. Note: List is in no specific order.
The Black Dahlia Murder – Everblack
Everblack was released on June 11, 2013 through Metal Blade Records. This album was the first release by the band to feature their new drummer Alan Cassidy and bassist Max Lavelle. The album sold 13,000 copies in the US in its first week of being released and debuted at #32 on the Billboard 200.
Hands Like Houses – Unimagine
Unimagine is the second album to be released by Australian band, Hands Like Houses. This album was released on July 23, 2013 through Rise Records.
Born of Osiris – Tomorrow We Die Alive
Tomorrow We Die Alive is the third album to be released by deathcore band, Born of Osiris. It was released through Sumerian Records on August 20, 2013. This album debuted at #27 on the Billboard 200, selling 13,052 copies in the first week.
letlive. – The Blackest Beautiful
The Blackest Beautiful is the third studio album by letlive. and was released through Epitaph Records on July 9, 2013. The album was produced with an effort to create a more grungy and organic sound.
August Burns Red – Rescue & Restore
Rescue & Restore is the sixth full-length album by August Burns Red. The album peaked at #9 on the Billboard Top 200 and #2 on the Billboard Top Christian Album chart.
Streetlight Manifesto – The Hands That Thieve
The Hands That Thieve is the fifth studio album by Streetlight Manifesto which was originally set to be released in the Summer of 2012, but was released on April 30th, 2013 because of rewrites and label problems.
Stray From The Path – Anonymous
Anonymous is the seventh studio album by Stray From The Path and was released on September 17, 2013 through Sumerian Records. This album debuted at #40 on the Billboard Top 200.
Blessthefall – Hollow Bodies
Hollow Bodies is the fourth studio album by Blessthefall and was released on August 20, 2013 through Fearless Records. This album debuted at #15 on the Billboard Top 200 and reached #1 on the Hard Rock chart.
